For Carlsberg drinkers, the Carlsberg CNY promotion has begun a gold rush worthy of the fabled pint.
The Carlsberg CNY promotion which gives away gold and other gifts worth more than RM4,888,888, started in December last year and has been receiving a substantial amount of response. To-date, four lucky Carlsberg consumers have won pure 999 gold Dragon Sculptures worth RM9,999 each and another 167 consumers across Peninsular Malaysia walked home with pure 999 gold pendants worth RM999 each.
Something as ordinary as a bottle cap is now valued almost as if it were precious gold. Ng Huat Chen from Kuala Lumpur was one of the lucky winners of Carlsberg’s gold pendant. “I remember hitting the jackpot by opening my first Carlsberg bottle, I felt so lucky! The joy of winning this prize should be shared among my group of friends with another Carlsberg!”

Consumers can participate when they purchase Carlsberg beer in big bottles from food courts, coffee shops, hawker centres across Peninsular Malaysia. To determine what type of gift they have won and can redeem, all they need to do is check the design printed inside the bottle cap.
